I have installed Solaris 10 on HP ML 370G6. Server have 2 controllers - P410 (embedded) and external P212.
Built-in controller working OK, but P212 is unconfigured
cfgadm -al show:
c2 scsi-bus connected unconfigured unknown
I tray configure controler 2:
cfgadm -c configure c2
but not working.
Can anybody help me ?
Did you receive some answer fot your problem?
Because I have the same issue with a SAS LTO drive cinnectedto P212 controller with Solaris 10.
You resurrected an abandoned thread from June 2012 to ask your question.
(Yes, the thread is abandoned because it's the only post by the original poster.)
Forum etiquette would suggest you start your own thread instead. You just need to paste a link into your new thread to anything else such as old threads that you might think are applicable. When you do that people will pay attention YOUR inquiry and you won't be ripping ownership of a thread away from someone.
What did you find when you went to HP's web site...
clicked on Support And Drivers at the top of their home page...
then typed "p212 controller" into the search box of that support page?
I see a search result that shows two versions of a RAID controller, depending on whether you have their P212/ZM card or their P212/256 card. Those two links get you to a roster of more than 30 OS drivers for each that included Solaris 10x86 drivers.
It wasn't that hard to find.
As the old replies in that thread stated, if you have issues with HP's hardware on some OS then you need to talk to HP. It's their hardware.
