Beehive enhancement of the day: control user visibility
May 16, 2012 3:41 PM
Now for another enhancement request I'd like to discuss here.
Would you, as a beehive admin, like to be able to
-hide system user that should only accept and process system mails
(and should not bother "normal" users)
-hide other pseudo-accounts out of the normal users scope of interest
(the beeadmin user is present in the GAL, but no normal user will be
interested in addressing him)?
-create an invisible test user on production environments, to
Then please second the following Enhancement Request:
: OPTION TO CONTROL USER'S VISIBILITY IN OBEO GAL
Or do you have a workaround? Please share it with us.
Thanks and regards, Tom

in response to
another related ER is about controlling the visibility of groups:
ER 14145462 - ABILITY TO CHANGE THE VISIBILITY OF A STATIC GROUP DEFINED ON LDAP
We use groups throughout to define TWS memberships, access rights etc.
A part of that groups should not be visible to users, as they are of no interest for adressing mail messages or inviting people.
If you are also interested to control the visibility of externally defined users and groups, please take the time to second ER 10020192 and 14145462 in MOS.
