What is the complete error stack?
Oracle.DataAccess.Client is .NET classes for the Oracle Data Provider for .NET.
You connection string appears to be trying to use MSDAORA which is Microsoft's OLEDB provider. You can use that connection string with System.Data.OleDb, but not with Oracle.DataAccess.Client.
My guess is that you're passing an OLEDB connection string to ODP.NET.
Hi Sir,, i am using .NET FRAMEWORK DATA PROVIDER FOR OLEDB in DATA SOURCE , because if i use Oracle DataProvider for .NET, the stored procedures are not working, so some IT peoples recommended me to use "NET FRAMEWORK DATA PROVIDER FOR OLEDB", could you please assist me to connect with oracle database using Visual studio 2010?
