      Hello All,

We are facing weird issue as some users are getting disconnected from Oracle application R11 ( 11.5.10.2 ) while switching between forms and they are receiving error likes FRM-92101 , FRM-92102 . This issue started occurring when our system went live as an ERP RAC system and jre version which previously was 1.6.17 got updated to 1.6.23 which is used by ERP .

As of now, We have tried upgrading the JRE to 1.6.24 but with no luck. Has anyone ever come across issue like this before ? Searching on the net for the below issue talks about the

Did you verify it by taking a system that was exhibiting the problem and by only downgrading to the earlier version demonstrating that the behavior occurred?

            Hi jschell,

These are the next steps I am going to carry out .
            1) Will revert JRE to 1.6.0_17 and check it .
            2) Going to use the same problematic machine but with different User id to check if it's something to do with that particular user profile .

I am quite sure that JRE on client's machine is the one creating this trouble as ,
            1) Not all the users from that location facing this issue rules out the network issue as well as Oracle issue.
            2) Behavior is same across all the browser rules out the browser issue (Tried on IE8 and Mozilla Firefox 3.6)

Let me know your inputs .

            Thanks and Regards,
            Prasad

Also just to let you know,

I have already tried upgrading JRE to 1.6.0_24 but no luck .

                Hello All,

Issue has been resolved by adding -nomerge option at the end of Internet Explorer .exe option as below.

--> Add this parameter -nomerge at the end of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nomerge on “ Internet Explorer icon -> Properties “ . Click on Apply and then OK .

So let me explain what I understood from this scenario. Please correct me if I am wrong.

IE 8 by default has a nature of sharing its session cookies and information for the same web service across all the sessions on different IE browser windows or tabs . So whenever you try to access multiple forms , browser was sending the old cookie / session information to Oracle while loading the applet again and hence oracle was invalidating it and was throwing errors like FRM-92101, FRM-92102 etc.. and upon receiving the new session information . We were able to open the new form and access it normally.

Thus by adding -nomerge option , this issue is fixed with Internet Explorer only . Trying to figure out , how it can be resolved on other browsers . Will keep you updated once I get it.

                Hope this helps you guys..!!

                enjoy..!!

                Regards,
                Prasad

Did the FRM-92102 display error 405 or 500. we have the similar issue on EBS R12. The JRE client is sending a new connect request to an already established OC4J session resulting in a FRM-92102.
