      We have our databases currently running on Sun solaris machines. We recently built a Linux clusters using Beowulf architecture. We are planing to write programs on this cluster which would tap into our databases running on Solaris.
      My question is how do you install the Oracle client on the Linux cluster, is it enough to install it only on the Head server or do we need to install it on each node. I looked for documentation on this subject but could not find any.

          It should be okay to install it once..

          Platform specific documentation provided through PDFs zipped with the software and not on the general documentation pages.
          My guess would be that the documentation you looking for is zipped inside :
