MS project 2010 import to P6

I have this question; When I imported MSP2010 project files (After saving to xml first), the schedule does not come out the way it looked in MSP.
Summary tasks do not show up and the sequence is out of whack.

      Am I doing something wrong?

When I import suretrak files to P6, everything comes out in shiip shape, no touch up is needed.

      Need ideas/help.

      Thanks

Do you group by WBS in P6? We haven't had many conversion issues going from one to the other program. It's one of the few things that I think works better than it did in P3 or Suretrak.

Ohh, I see you used .xml. We do too, fewer errors. Still, I haven't run into what you are seeing.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

            Thx for the info.
I am now looking at activty codes in MSP 2010 Project file..
I group by WBS in P6. Also, all of my suretrak files are coded, so, when I import them into P6, all ducks are in order.

But this MSP files are driving me crazy.. I do not think I coded any of them.. And they do look ugly when imported to P6...
