    Hello again;

    The HP DDS-4 40GB data cartridge C5718A has a Drive compatibility of DAT 40 and DAT 72 tape drives.

    Source - HP

    http://h71016.www7.hp.com/MiddleFrame.asp?page=config&ProductLineId=450&FamilyId=1458&BaseId=7782&oi=E9CED&BEID=19701&SBLID=

    The HP StorageWorks is a DAT 72 tape drive.

    Other tapes do work with this tape drive, that's why the credentials don't match.

    But DAT 72 is the bottom line. ( No where in any of my goals is HP sales! )

    Best Regards
