can we use the spare fan of V240 into V210 ?
          The V210 is a 1-U rackmount system.
The V240 is a 2-U version of essentially the same design.

Confirm it for yourself that the parts are interchangeable:
Take the cover off both systems. Position them side-by-side.
Look at the paper label on both fans. (on the fan, not on the entire CPU/fan assembly)
That will be the fan part number. All you would care about is the first seven numbers of whatever that part number might be. I predict they'll be the same. If those systems happen to be the same CPU speed, it may actually be easier to exchange the entire CPU/heatsink/fan assembly.

Here is the link to the V210 system documentation:
          http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19088-01/v210.srvr/index.html
Gere is the link to the V240 system documentation:
          http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19088-01/v240.srvr/index.html
You can find the service manual for each system at those links.
You probably should have gone there first before posting to an anonymous user-to-user discussion forum. Reading The Fine Manuals from the actual product manufacturer is always going to give you more accurate information.

Sinve you are asking this question in a forum, we will presume that both systems lack any coverage by a service contract. Therefore you can do anything you want to do. If you still maintain any legacy service contract coverage on the V210, do NOT do this yourself. Log a SR with support instead.
