I'm trying to add a PDF document to my WebCenter portal. I tried different thing to achieve it, but none worked (document viewer, content presenter, etc.). What I want to do is really simple: I want only to display the PDF document. The nearest thing I achieved was to open the document into another page, by using an ADF go link like this:
<af:goLink id="goLink1" text="Présentation WebCenter.pdf"
Is it possible to open the document the same way, but in the page instead of opening another one?
thanks for the reply! It is more something like on this drawing that I want to do:
Is it possible to do like a targetFrame, but inside a page instead of replacing the page?
PS: the menu is inside a page template and the link in the page

All I can tell you is to try the various options, and see if one fits the bill.
In addition to the listed possible targetFrame attributes, I'd imagine if you are using frames, setting the targetFrame attribute to the name of the desired frame should work. For example, if the frame where the PDF should open is named "myFrame", setting the targetFrame attribute to "myFrame" should work.
Your mileage may vary.
that is the part I was missing, with the help you gave me, I added a <af:inlineFrame> to my structure (I was only using groupLayouts) and I use the link to the UCM of my goLink for the source attribute of the inline frame!
Thanks again for your help :)
