C# - Oracle 10g Client, ClearPool() raised "Operation is invalid..."
Jul 24, 2012 1:07 AM
My Oracle client is 10.2.0.1, In VS2005, Framework 2.0, C# code I use OracleConnection.
After the Oracle connection state is closed and while calling OracleConnection.ClearPool(conn);
I get an exception "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object." .
Is there any work-around or patch available to fix this issue.
The same line of code works good in Oracle 11g Clients systems.
Any Help would be grateful.
Thanks in advance

I believe this is
. The fix was introduced in ODP.NET 18.104.22.168, which is why it works in ODP.NET 11g.
The recommended fix is to upgrade your client to 11g for the fix or ODP.NET 10.2.0.4 or higher.
