Adding Sequence to the set of Transactions
Jul 24, 2012 12:01 PM
My Scenario is:
Suppose an customer ordered three products at a time, then that three product rows must have single order_id(this order_id should be sequence generator).
But iam getting different order_id's for three products.....
I have add sequence generator using following code in the EO IMPL class in create method,
SequenceImpl s=new SequenceImpl("first_seq",getDBTransaction());
How can i accomplish this task...? Suggest me any relevent solution....
I have the same question

How about having two tables, one for orders, and the other (via a foreign key) with items in an order (it might have its own primary key)?
Alternatively, you may have everything in one table, but OrderId still has to have character of a foreign, not primary key.
