A number of ways to handle this but here is just one:
1) use a PIVOT query to return your dataset so all each monthly value in the dataset is on its own row.
2) In your Essbase IKM use a load rule where the load type is set to accumulate
This will satisfy your requirement.
Making it separate row is not a problem. Problem is when I need to load whole year.
For example: How the system should know that if he meets row: Acc1 | FY12 | Apr | 1200 he should map this row 8 times to Apr, May, Jun etc.
In that case create a view in your relational db that SUMS the values based on period effectively giving you a YTD figure for each month and use that as the source1 person found this helpful
