    Needs inputs about High Memory Usage by Oracle

      We are getting an alert on a particular Solaris box that Oracle is using high Memory, stat as below:-
      <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
      NPROC USERNAME SIZE RSS MEMORY TIME CPU
      177 oracle 2654G 2639G 100% 42:38:44 19%


      What may the steps we need to investigate apart from digging into the current running Oracle processes on the box?

      Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

          MEMORY is designed to be used.
          This alert in and of itself it meaningless.

          a lack of RAM can be seen when (si+so) > (bi+bo) from vmstat below
