I would like to know, is it possible to check the replication table details in streams. ? In which format data is transferring through tcp/ip ?depends on configuration
for changes, LCRs are created and propagated to destination
in a downstream capture configuration, redo information / archive logs are transferred to destination, then LCRs are created on the destination site
is there any log file available to check the replication table details and row details in stream ? please help on this, what do you mean exactly?
there are dictionary views for monitoring purpose: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28321/strms_monitor.htm
or if you want the content of tables/rows, you can write your own specific DML handler to check the data at apply time: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14072_01/server.112/e10704/strms_apply.htm#BABGBDGD
Thanks Balazs Papp ,
just i would like to know, what is the message format of data?
logical change record (LCR)
A message with a specific format that describes a database change. what is the name of that specific format? like ascii, text, sql ...?
its a binary format specific to Oracle Streams
you can access(/write) its members with the Streams API and other methods like DDL/DML handlers or capture filter
