11gr2 De-Install 11gr2 auto exit in silent mode

    952984
      Hi All,
I am able to uninstall Oracle 11gr2 successfully with the silent mode. But it does not exits the deinstall command prompt after completion, I have to manually type Exit command. What I want is without any user intervention it should exit automatically after completion. I am using the following command to call deinstall:
      "\Oracle\deinstall\deinstall.bat -silent" . Also i have edited the deinstall.rsp.tmpl.
      Any suggestions will be helpful.

      Thanks

Use the "-nowait" flag - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/em.112/e12255/c_oui_appendix.htm#BABGHAIA

                  Hi Srini,
                  Thanks for your reply.
I used "-nowait" flag but still the problem is not getting resolved. The command window still waits for the user to exit the command prompt.
I believe with deinstall.bat "-nowait" flag does not works.

You are correct - the nowait flag is for the installer.

Have you tried the "-silent" flag ? What does command "deinstall -help" show ?

                      Hi Srini,
Yes I am using "-silent" flag.
                      "\Oracle\deinstall\deinstall.bat -silent"

I could not find any flag like "-nowait" flag in "deinstall.bat -help".
Output which I am getting for "deinstall.bat -help" is:-

                          Hi All,
I got the problem resolved :). Had to edit deinstall.bat and add exit in it at the end. I guess Exit command is missing in deinstall.bat provided with Oracle 11g r2.
Thanks to Srini for his suggestions.
