I'm experiencing the same problem. I've resorted to using Transmit as a work around for the time being.
I am also experiencing the same issue.
When I try to login it shows following message:
"Authentication using "email@example.com" failed. Verify your credentials and try again."
Solved this by doing following:
use Java version of the Beehive Client. Go to https://stbeehive.oracle.com/bcentral, click on the conference link on the left side of the screen, and select “Java-based Oracle Beehive Conference Client”. You can then join/start the conference directly using the Java Client from Mountain Lion.
I'm Still having the problem in 10.8.2. I can now connect to the beehive server via WebDAV but any file copy results in a zero byte file.
A colleage of mine upgraded to OS X 10.8.2 (12C60), and the issue appears to be solved.
Are there other beehive users of Mountain Lion experiencing the same?
Sorry, but I have to revise my last post: it appears that the issue is not solved, not even with OS X 10.8.3 (12D78).
Has any of you knowledge of a viable workaround, other than using a program than the transmit client?
Support states this to be a third party bug at Apples side. Will they ever fix it?
Very rainy weather, and the bees will not leave their hives.
OS X 10.7 finder is currently the last version with certification with
beehive 126.96.36.199, because of a bug in OS X.
BUG 14680648 - MAC OS X 10.8: FINDER/WEBDAV COPIES ZERO LENGTH FILES
This is a bug on the Apple vendor side.
If you are affected, please second via MOS, so that Oracle can press
Apple to develop a fix in upcoming OS X versions.
a user of OS X 10.8.4 reports the following picture when trying
to access beehive 188.8.131.52 TWS through WebDAV:
Mac OS X "native", cadaver and Cyberduck do not work. He doesn't
even get to the password prompt.
Cadaver reports "SSL handshake failed"
ForkLift works without problems, and Safari, Firefox and Chrome
can access Zimbra without an issue (so the SSL handshake works
Seems as if newer versions of OS X face more than the zero-bytes
issue when accessing beehive WebDAV.
Please share your own experiences with OS X and WebDAV.
