    Hi,
HTTP 503 error usually means "Service not available".
    a. Have you configured your report server?
    b. Is the URL to the report server correct? This is not a report server URL http://application:8888/formslservlet;jsessionid=yjc6QfjGNkr8fjlyD26fZjqmwBGKkGVgG1L7s91X8y6rBsgGl650!-1255936909

    Try links here http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/bi.1111/b32121/pbr_verify.htm#i1007097

    Cheers,

    hello thank you for reply.

Yes all is running the only problem when i'll go back to forms after running a report it will hang and raise this error.
the http server will lost connection i need to restart again it seems the http server cant not getstream() whatever it is i dont know because im not good in java.

After pressing the ok button from the error details and refresh the page :

    Failure of server APACHE bridge:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF.

But by cheking the status of the server opnctnl status it gives me ALIVE stats.

so need again to restart the http server to run.

You may be looking at the wrong thing. This is not a problem with OPMN or its children. The error
    <blockquote>Failure of server APACHE bridge:
    No backend server available ...</blockquote>
is the result of OHS (specifically mod_wl_ohs) not being able to contact or get a response from WLS_FORMS, which is not managed by OPMN.

If you do not have a firewall blocking direct access, try running the form using the WLS_FORMS port (9001). If your form calls reports then opens the results using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT, it will likely fail this part because of the change in port, but for now that's ok. The idea is to see if there is a problem between OHS and WLS or just a WLS problem alone.

    So, try this:

    http://host:9001/forms/frmservlet?form=yourFormNameHere

can you tell me where to look out what log file to see what wrong with it?

Both forms&reports im using port 8888 for HTTP server. Forms work well also the report display my result but as go back to forms thats the reason now can get no any response as you said.

yes thank you i tried that it seems it accept only 1 access to the HTTP server OHS1. if i tried to run the report the forms will hang after running it as well if the forms run first then the report will not run it gives always this error.

if i used 9001 port for forms then call it the report with the port 8888 its okey forms not hang but i liked to run in the same port 8888, i know also that WLS_REPORT is 9002.

is there any configuration to change from httpd.conf to change this behavior? perhaps the LISTEN to fixed ip_address:port? now default is 8888

I'm sorry, but I'm having a difficult time understand what you are saying...

What do you mean here? "... +if the forms run first then the report will not run it gives always this error+ ..." Are you loading the report results in the same browser that is running the form?

My recommendation to run Forms from the WLS port was only for a test. If it works correctly using 9001 then likely there is a problem in OHS. If the problem still reproduces even when using 9001 then the problem may be in your application code, which takes me back to my questions above.

Like I always recommend, test the simplest possibility first. Create a simple form and call a simple report. Do not try to debug this problem using a production scale application as generally the complexity of the application will make it difficult to determine if the problem is in the configuration or the application. If you have access to MyOracleSupport and can create a Service Request, the Support team might be able to provide you with a test form.

this will be the problem i should posted :

*2.1 Oracle HTTP Server Returns 503 Apache Bridge Failure Error While Toggling Between Forms and Reports*
While toggling between Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports applications through Oracle HTTP Server, you may see the "503 Apache Bridge failure" error. This is due to the wrong patch 12632886 being shipped with the Oracle Forms and Reports installer.

This document found in : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24269_01/doc.11120/e25445/install_upgrade.htm#BABHBABB

for those with oraclesupport find the document subject : Forms / Reports 11g Intermittent FRM-92103 Or "Failure of Server APACHE Bridge" - OHS Log Shows "apr_socket_connect call failed" [ID 1380762.1]

    I downloaded the patch from

OPatch 12632886 (OHS-WLS COMMUNICATION NOT WORKING ON IPV6 ENABLED SOLARIS M/C [Patch ID 14069292]) for your Windows Platform from My Oracle Support

i successfully patched now its working.

thank you for your patience and help..
