      http://www.practiceoracledba.com/2011/11/oracle-goldengate-11g-installation-on.html
      . On last step when i tried to "start replicat rep1" then a window appears and after few seconds it disappeared. I checked

          Create checkpoint table on target database.

          edit params ./GLOBALS

          CHECKPOINTTABLE GGSCHKPT

          GGSCI (hostname) 1> dblogin userid <username>, password <password>
          Successfully logged into database.

          GGSCI (hostname) 2> add checkpointtable

          No checkpoint table specified, using GLOBALS specification (GGSCHKPT)...

          Successfully created checkpoint table GGSCHKPT.

          replicat rep1
          SETENV (ORACLE_SID=<instance_name>)
          ASSUMETARGETDEFS
          userid receiver, password receiver1
          discardfile C:\32GG\discard\rep1_discard.txt, append, megabytes 10
          DDL INCLUDE ALL
          map sender.*, target receiver.*;
