Redhat removed OCFS2 from their RHEL 6 kernel. So ask RedHat where to get OCFS2 for their kernel.
If you switch to the UEK kernel and to Oracle Linux, then you get OCFS2 from Oracle.
You can download OL at edelivery.oracle.com and get all updates via. public-yum.oracle.com
Thanks for your reply. I'll check with RedHat.
I also need to install OCFS2 on RHEL6. Did you check with Red Hat? Were you able to install OCFS2 in RHEL6?
as far I known, RedHat does not support/provides OCFS2 in RHEL 6, because RedHat has his own cluster file system (Global Filesystem aka GFS)
In the other hand, Oracle does not provides OCFS2 rpm's for RHEL6.
The only way to get OCFS2 in RHEL6 is with Oracle Unbreakeable Kernel (you can get it free, and performs very very well on Data Bases)
Hope it's helps.
