Where do you want to create the tables? In the RPD or in the Database?
If you are trying to do it in the RPD:
You can create a phyiscal view and write your own query and use them in the logical / presentation layers or you can use content filters as prasanna mentioned in this post.
If you are trying to create tables in the database when dont you just write a create statement ?
Yes it is ofcourse. You have to create define a join between those two tables and expose them in the logical/presentation layers of the RPD. Once they are available in the subject area, you should be able to create analysis using columns from both the tables.
You can create the tables in Database or OBIEE logical layer..
In database you can directly create the table along with check constraint based on group1 and group2 data.
In OBIEE you cant create the table, but if you have a table with group1 and group2 data ,then you can split the table based where condition.
Note:You should have the source table in the physical layer...
Splitting the table data in BMM layer will increase the performance.....
please read carefully!!! Repository is already done. I started creating reports. In ANALYCTICS a analysis is created. I need to cretae two reports(in analytics it is called Table) based on thsi analysis.
The reports(Tables) should have different filters. Is it possible or should create them based no different analysis?
