I'm running Sol10 (SPARC) with Cluster 3.3 and SAN attached storage, and there are multiple oracle database instances, and the desire is that each instance live within it's own Solaris zone. (ie: a DBA will log into a server and will only see a single instance). Looking for advice, suggestions on how to approach this. Can an oracle instance failover between zones installed on cluster nodes?
Also note that RAC and/or ASM is not an option. FS is ZFS.

Thread moved from the Sun Cluster forum,
to the Database Installation forum, for closer topic alignment.
The question is about configuring a database's installation in an existing cluster environment, not about the cluster software's configuration. It is likely a topic more familiar to those who work with the database products than those who work with clustering software.
I disagree. This is absolutely more about the configuration of the cluster components rather than oracle database installation itself. Please relocate this question back to the proper group, which is Solaris Clustering.
