I assume you refer to Windows 8.
Fact: Windows is never 100 percent downwards compatible with older releases.
Fact: Oracle never re-certifies with newer releases of an OS, assuming downwards compatibility.
So 11gR2 is not certified against Windows 8.
There might be a 126.96.36.199 in the future, and it might certify against Windows 8,
but this is not the channel to get info on that.

1 submit a SR and probably get no answer or refusal to disclose it.
2 wait for the announcement on MOS.

when is oracle supported on Windows 2012 or Windows 8? It has been some time since windows released it!

I only found the linked document from september 2011, but no schedule for 220.127.116.11.
Is there any newer information or roadmap on available, one of our customers also wants to run under Windows 2012 Server?
