I assume you refer to Windows 8.
Fact: Windows is never 100 percent downwards compatible with older releases.
Fact: Oracle never re-certifies with newer releases of an OS, assuming downwards compatibility.
So 11gR2 is not certified against Windows 8.
There might be a 18.104.22.168 in the future, and it might certify against Windows 8,
but this is not the channel to get info on that.
Yes, but if it's not there right now you have two options
1 submit a SR and probably get no answer or refusal to disclose it.
2 wait for the announcement on MOS.
