For the drive that reports the predictive failure, you need to use CAM to manually fail it, then you can replace this drive.
Thank you! I will be able to manually fail it in few days. I assume the drive should be available to be reserved shortly after failing it and without any adverse consequences.

I'm not sure to understand why you want to reserve the drive. Once a drive is failed, the blue LED (Service Action Allowed) and amber LED (Service Action Required) are lit.
OK I understand now, there is no need to reserve after manually failing the drive.
