Starting from 188.8.131.52, the binaries are released as a patch sets and that are full installation packages which needs to be installed on a separate ORACLE_HOME.

Before upgrading to 220.127.116.11, the recommended patches should be applied to the existing grid environment.

In order to install 22.214.171.124, you need to download the Patch 10404530 from MOS.

Once the patch 10404530 has been downloaded and extracted, start the runInstaller from the staging area and choose the third option "Upgrade Oracle Grid Infrastructure or Oracle Automatic Storage Management" and choose the separate home.
The rest of the proceess will be guieded by the OUI.
