    Shortcut to Java Control Panel

      Hi
I was wondering what shortcut to use to run Java Control Panel in Windows 7?
Older OS used jpicpl32.cpl, but this does not work anymore.

Open the control panel and make a shortcut to java
it will be placed on your desktop,
move it to some convenient folder and run cmd prompt
          then cat the shortcut
some garbage will preceed the name of the file to run.

          Not tested on Windows 7.

            Hi
            Thank you for the suggestion.
            However, It did not work:

            C:\Test>type Java.Ink
The system cannot find the file specified.

            Am I doing it wrong?

              Run a dir command,
then mark and copy the shortcut
              and paste it after
              C:\Test> type "{code}
              something like
              {code}C:\Test> type "Shortcut to Java.lnk
(it does not seem to require the closing quotemark).
