    linux rpm error


      I am getting below error:
      rpm: error while loading shared libraries: libelf.so.1: cannot open shared object file:

      Please let me know the process to resolve this.

          Which version of RPM is installed right now? seems its incompatible version

            That file is probably part of the elfutils-libelf RPM package. If it's missing, you've likely had some file system corruption. Did you have a crash or power outage?

            Is the only time you see this error when you try to use /bin/rpm? Does this work:
            # /bin/rpm -qf /usr/lib64/libelf.so.1 -V
            # /bin/rpm -qf /usr/lib/libelf.so.1 -V
            Or generate any outputs?
