I can't vouch for the reliability of the procedure. But would offer this suggestion if you haven't already figured it out. If/when you create a new email based id, use your personal email instead of a company email. I consider my OTN membership to be mine, not my company's. Yes, it does make for a bit of confusion with SSO when I want to log on to MOS (which very much IS a resource paid for by my company and tied to them, so I use my company email address there) but I feel that inconvenience is worth it to have a clear seperation between company and personal resources. I recently changed employers myself and by having originally set up my OTN account as my pesonal account, had no problem with the transition.
I changed my email id and i am a Newbie now
Lost all my watches my threads and my Status
Already logged a call with oracle.com
Does this things take time to update or is it gone for ever and there is no way i can change my Status??
I am not concern about my status But there was some good threads which i kept in my watch section..
Did you go to https://myprofile.oracle.com and use the "change username" link there ? If that does not work, pl send an email to email@example.com (if you have not already)

I used the above mentioned link only to change my email-id but it doesn't workout.
Also i have sent a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org waiting for there reply.
Just wanted to know one thing is it possible for them to change my status again or is gone forever??
And also if in any case forum moderator can help me???
OTN admins should be able to fix this - they have in the past. Moderators do not have the necessary privileges to do so.

Its being two days and i didnt get any update from Oracle regarding the same
I have logged the call in below mentioned mail-id.
Any input from you all expert will help??
Monday (yesterday) was a holiday in the US - expect the email to be acted upon sometime this week

where did you get the fix in the end sunny? was it through that OTN email address you posted above?
I have a personal account which is different to this one I login to with this account.
If I go to change the username with this account and try and change to my personal one I see "username already in use". Im changing jobs soon so need to do this to maintain OTN status.
