I have my web application and I want to redirect my application using apex listener login details. The URL below does not indicate an Apex application.
Apex Listener is primary designed for accessing Apex. If you are familiar with servlet technology , take a look at the WEB-INF/web.xml .
Means whenever I type my application site, http ://localhost:4912/myapp/idex.html then it must pop up listeneradmin login username and password. means adminlistener as username and admin as my password. Something like this. Once it is authenticate, it must call my home page of site.>
BTW, ListenerAdmin is the end point for configuring ApexListener parameters. It is not a Basic Authentication mechanism as in HTTP Basic Authentication.
ApexListener is not a general purpose J2EE container, nor does it have URL rewriting.
Depending on what your web application is, you need either Apache for rewriting URL or a J2EE container to deploy your end point (servlet).
I know, but if I type URL(localhost:4912/myapp/index.html), then I must get same username and password dialog box (Authentication required) which we get we type http://localhost:4912/apes/listenerAdmin.Even if I clear my cookies, I don't get authentication required login /pwd box.>
You either need to have your own servlet for your webapplication to perform authentication, or use HTTP Basic authentication. You cannot use the Apexlistener ListenerAdmin authentication in any other application.
It all depends on what your web application is, and you have not said a word about it when asked.
It will help if you first get some concepts cleared. Try
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/howto/auth.html and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_access_authentication
