hi,

I have added a new CPUM(VII plus) and MEMB(32GB) in my Sun Sparc M5000, previously it was working with 2 x CPUMs(VII) and 2 x MEMBs (16GB each).

now when i added up this new CPUM and MEMB, I can see them through XSCF by "showhardstatus", both are up and normal but total memory is still 32 GB.

how can i assign this CPUM and MEMB to already running domain.

please its urgent.

Here is a link to the M5000 documentation
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19580-01/index.html
including the Service Manual and the various User and Upgrade Guides.

I haven't had occasion (or need) to read any of the documents but they likely have every procedure you'll need to get your new hardware functional.

    By the way:
    please its urgent.
There is no "urgent" in the OTN forums. They are user-to-user forums and not a way to get to Oracle Technical Support.
No one is paid to monitor them and there is no obligation that any post ever get a response. That's what your service contract gives you, not these forums.

If there is a critical business need for any inquiry, log a SR and get an authoritative answer from the company.

    Hi.

In case you have more 2 CPUM, you must have 2 IOM.

You should configure additional XSB at Uni-mode and add this XSB to domain.

    Rubkat provide link with docs.

    Regards.
