Can I configure to sync Oracle 10 server with Windows Time service NOT NTP SERVER?
If so, how?
Thanks for your help.
I think you might mean Solaris 10 not Oracle 10.
(Oracle 10 is a software application that you install on top of some OS.)
Please get your terminology correct.
Is this for the same system that you posted about two weeks earlier? Solaris 10 network status shows 'disconnected' & cannot ping out
The same system that had a mucked up network configuration?
You never returned to that forum thread to let any one know how you might have resolved your issue.
In fact, glancing at your posting history, you never return to your posts to let anyone know whether responses are helpful.
Yes you can sync Solaris with a Windows Time server, since the Windows Time Service is based on NTP even if its not a full implementation of it. Just specify your Windows Time service as your NTP server and it should work.
