Machine details:oh boy. Let aside iDS is not certified on 64bit Windows 7 (it works on mine, but that doesn't mean anything) - a Macbook running Windows? That doesn't sound right, at least from my perspective. If you followed the instructions carefully and you didn't get it running then maybe a VM is the only solution.

If you decide to install in the Program Files folder, make sure you use the short name (PROGRA~1) for the directory instead of "Program Files". From a command prompt type "DIR /x" to get a listing with the "Short Names" to confirm the short name is correct.
