Disk Naming Convention looks as c0t5000C5003A8A9C4Dd0

Why my format shows changed disk naming conventions intead of cxtxdxsx. these are internal four disks of SUN X4270.


1)     bash-3.00# format

One of my fellow said, the naming convention is changed due to change in RAID Controller Card.
Raid controller card “6Gigabit SAS RAID PCI Express HBA, B4 ASIC (P/N: 375-3701)

Can any one confirm it?
