    LDOM question about virtual network

      Hi,

      as one can see here

      http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19053-01/ldoms.mgr11/820-4913-10/chapter7.html

it should be possible to assign two different phys. network adapters to one virtual switch
( I think primary-vsw0 is the name of the virtual switch ) :

      # ldm list -l ldg1
      ...
      NETWORK
      NAME SERVICE DEVICE MAC
      net-a primary-vsw0@primary network@0 00:14:4f:f8:91:4f
      net-c primary-vsw0@primary network@2 00:14:4f:f8:dd:68

      So, my two questions are:

      1.
What are the commands to do that?

      I don't know if that

      ldm add-vswitch net-dev=nxge0 primary-vsw0 primary
      ldm add-vswitch net-dev=nxge2 primary-vsw0 primary

      is possible?

      2.
If 1. is possible, how can I assign the two configured devices to my LDOM ( ldom1 ),
for example as vnet0 and vnet2? What is the correct command?

I don't want to create for each network adapter it's own virtual switch,
because I want to "pool" my 8 network adapters which are in 4 subnets.

      THX!

The second add-vswitch would fail as primary-vsw0 already exists. You'd have to create an aggregation and use that as the net-dev of the vsw (I'm assuming S10, given that you reference LDoms 1.1 docs - 1.1 is a long long time ago...)

          From the 1.3 Admin Guide : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19604-01/821-0406/linkaggregation/index.html
(I think 1.1 has aggregation support too)
          2.

          ldm add-vnet vnet1 primary-vsw0 ldom1
(where primary-vsw0 uses the aggregation of the two adapters)
