Static Oracle library in OLSUG presentations

    253101
      Hi all,
There is example of BLAST implementation in one of OLSUG presentations ("Workshop: Using Table Functions" by S. Thomas http://www.oracle.com/technology/industries/life_sciences/presentations/olsug_june04/olsug_june04_table_functions.pdf ). Shiby says that programmer can write code for functions, compile it and link statically with oracle executable, after that DBA can create static library and use these functions. But there is no details about functions interface and compile/link steps. It is possible to get some documents from Oracle about requirements for user static libraries? I know that I can do similar things with external pl/sql procedures, but performance for this method is unacceptable for me.
      Thanks.
