    Hello;

    Can you use broker to find the issue?

    dgmgrl> show inconsistent properties

    Otherwise check this note :

    Problem: Verify Dataguard Configuration Shows Database Is Not Discovered [ID 412812.1]

    Hello;

    Well that did not work!

    It appears to be an EM issue which are great fun to track down ( Not true ).

    I would consider using broker and might chase the EM issue with Oracle support.

    The search in this forum may help, but I have not seen many EM questions over the past 2 years.

    Will double check my notes and post anything I find as an edit here.

    Please also post your full oracle verison.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

    Our EM version is "10.2.0.5" and our dataguard and database version of databases for which we are facing issue is "11.2.0.2". we have other databases of same version, on them everything is working fine(Verify configuration).Its very strange for us ,I dont know which files it's refering and not able to locate them.

    Hello,

    One more thing I would like ask that we have set nameconvert parameters like :
    db_file_name_convert           DD, DD
    log_file_name_convert          DD, DD
    Is this correct sysntax to define these parameters.

    Hello;

    Yes.

    Example
    DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT=('/u01/app/oracle/oradata/RECOVER2', '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/RECLONE','/u01/oradata/RECOVER2','/u01/oradata/RECLONE')
    LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT=('/u01/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/RECOVER2', '/u01/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/RECLONE')
    Notice they are always in groups of two, before and after.

    Best Regards
