WebLogic problem with Eclipse

I installed oepe-juno-installer-12.1.1.1.0.201207241647-12.1.1a-win32.exe package. In Eclipse I added Oracle WebLogic Server to run web application. I could start WebLogic server from the Eclipse, but when I tried to stop server I always get an error:
[Stopped, User: weblogic , failed to be authenticated.].
What I missed in my configuration?
Thank you
Alex

    WLS does get stopped?

No, WLS doesn't stop and eclipse console shows this message:

    Stopping WebLogic Server...

User: weblogic, failed to be authenticated.

Is WebLogic server required to be installed separately? If not, install the Installer with Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Coherence and Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse.

I did this this. The only differenece is that I installed the latest oepe for juno: oepe-juno-installer-12.1.1.1.0.201207241647-12.1.1a-win32.exe. I will try to install the oppe for indigo.

    Thank you

I installed oepe as you suggested. Unfortunately it didn't help - I still cannot stop WSL from the eclipse.

    Hi Alex,

BUG 8055242      Under certain conditions, when a user failed to authenticate, LDAP directory accesses were no longer possible.

open a ticket with oracle support ticket.

    Regards,

    Hi Alex,

when you notice the issue, are you able to stop the same server from the command prompt outside of OEPE using the stopWebLogic script ?

    thanks

    Hi Raj,
    Thank you for your help!
I believe that I was able to narrow down the problem. I tested these scenarios:
    - created a new weblogic domain using configuration wizard; added server to the Eclipse; didn't add any web application to the server; started and stopped server from the eclipse without errors.
    - added simple web application (just one index.html page) to the server; started and stopped server from the eclipse without errors. In both cases I saw the message:
    Stopping WebLogic Server...
Server "AdminServer" was force shutdown successfully ...

    - added my application; cannot stop server from the Eclipse or by running stopWebLogic.cmd script. Below is the error message I got when I ran script:

    Stopping Weblogic Server...
Initializing WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) ...
Welcome to WebLogic Server Administration Scripting Shell
Type help() for help on available commands
Connecting to t3://topics:7001 with userid weblogic ...
This Exception occurred at Thu Oct 04 08:58:09 EDT 2012.

Problem invoking WLST - Traceback (innermost last):

WLSTException: Error occured while performing connect : User: weblogic, failed to be authenticated.

    Done
    Stopping Derby Server...

I believe that the problem might be related to the fact that our application starts several servlets and for some reason WLS cannot shutdown them.
I will continue to investigate the issue.

It was an application problem, not weblogic. The problem was fixed.
