The field type you want is a BLOB. I haven't tried using one through access, but theoretically it should work if your ODBC connection has Enable LOBs turned on (on the Oracle tab of the connection configuration).1 person found this helpful
I will check that out for sure. Funny, there were a bunch of BLOB fileds in the oracle db when I started this but Access choked on them so the DBA changed them all. I wasn't aware of the setting in the ODBC connection so that is very helpful information to have!
