The last year I saw a thread about this topic, I'm searching for it without success. This is what I'm trying accomplish.
I'm trying to create a report which each row has a link or a "+" link to display or opens a new report (inside that row) based in that row's key
| ID | Name | Last Name |
| _2 | John | Reed |_
_| 3 | Marge | Morales |_
∟ |_Age | phone |_ <---------- ( Sub Report )
23 | 5555555 | __
_| 4 | George | Brown |_
This is just an example about what I'm trying to do. If someone can provide the link or could help me with this I'll be very grateful_._
Thanks in advance!!,
1. Go to report attributes and edit the column you want to place the link on.
2. Go to the column link section
a. select the field name that is under the link text - that will place it in the box with #'s around it.
b.fill in target (page in this application) and page (page number of the detail)
c. In item1 enter the field name that will catch the data you are passing (usually a unique ID)example :P18_ID
d. In value enter the field from the current page that contains the data you are sending. example #ID#
NOTE: if you click on the flashlight, you can select from that list.
Yes, this is exactly what I'm after... however I got stuck on the OnDeman Application Process. I got the following message at the first step :|
"To create an on-demand page process
at least one application level process must be created with the type 'ON-DEMAND'."
But I don't know how to do it.
You should not be creating an on demand process. Under the regions section where you have the SQL
that generates the report, select report than follow the above directions.
