i m using jdeveloper 11 release 2
i created a page split in two section with panel splitter
both portion i included a tab panel.
then i created two fragment pages.in each fragment i used a query search and a panel form layout based on the tutorial on the blog ( http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2012/06/crud-use-case-implementation-and-adf.html)
once I created one query search ,the search work perfectly but when i created the query search on the second tab panel each time i click the search button on the first tab panel the input text(s) on the second tab panel disappear ( i can see only the label)
( fragment pages are linked to the page through the region component)
Can someone help ?
why when you click the search button of the query search panel(first tab panel) the input text(s) disappear then when you click the search button of the query search panel(second tab panel) the input text(s) disappear
with "input text", do you mean the search criteria entered by a user ? If the criteria has been submitted then it should remain. If the search hasn't bean executed then the field data is not submitted to the component so that a partial refresh of the region would cause the behavior you see. In this case you want to disable the other region to be refreshed. Check the region view Pagedef for the ChangeEvent policy being set to ppr (on the iterator) and set it to none if it is. However, this is just a guess as your post doesn't give more details than that
