I have an interactive report page (page 2) which I am navigating to from a main navigation page which contains a text box (:P1_PART_NO) and a button(which has the branch details).
Can someone tell me how to pass the value of :P1_PART_NO into the search box at the top of the interactive report and have the results filtered accordingly as the page is loaded.
I am using apex v4.0
Thanks in advance,
I was thinking of doing something like that but ideally I want the user to have the interactive report filter set on page load but if there is no way of doing it, then I could do as you suggest and have an item on the interactive report page and modify the SQL accordingly.
Thanks for the advice:
I have managed to get the button working and passing in a value to the Interactive report using:
This is obviously just hard coding ABC into the search string.
I am having some trouble passing in the value of P1_PART_NUMBER in instead of ABC.
I have tried
v('P1_PART_NUMBER') at the end of the URL
:P1_PART_NUMBER at the end of the URL
all with no success.
Can someone point out what I need to do to pass the value of P1_PART_NUMBER in please.
