    Question on NETWORK_LINK

    VitaminD
      DB version:11.2.0.2

      Platform : Solaris

      I've never used NETWORK_LINK before. I want to move 3 schemas from Source DB to Target DB in one go.

      From googling, I gather that , to move schemas from source to target, the impdp should be invoked in target.

      This is what i am planning to do
      In source DB, I am going to create a user called JOHN and grant IMP_FULL_DATABASE to JOHN.

      In Target DB, I am going to create a user called TARGETUSER and grant IMP_FULL_DATABASE and CREATE DATABASE LINK privilege.
      Then I create a DB link within TARGETUSER schema in targetDB.
      CREATE DATABASE LINK mylink CONNECT TO john IDENTIFIED BY password USING '10.81.24.213:1521/SOURCEDB';
      TargetDB                         SourceDB (which has the schemas schema1,schema2,schema3)

      TARGETUSER  ------------------------->        JOHN
                     via DB Link
      Now, in in target machine, I invoke impdp like
      impdp TARGETUSER/pass schemas=schema1,schema2,schema3 network_link=mylink LOGFILE=3schemasNetworkImport_imp.log
      Are the above steps correct ?
