In dyn/admin open the service configuration for UpdateAgent and Configuration components and check values for the rmiport, adminPort, siteHttpServerName.
Also take a look at this thread:
ACC Client not connecting
I cannot find a dyn/admin directory either in the ATG and all underlying directories or in all the Weblogic directories.
I get 404 page not found errors for all the following pages
I appears that I am missing some software because these directories: portal/admin, atg/bcc and dyn/admin do not exist anywhere on my PC running Windows 7.
Are there any weblogic extensions for ATG that I need to add? If so, where do I get them?
p.s. the thread you referred me to refers to web site atg.com for a solution. atg.com no longer exists.
Did you created the ear and deployed the application ear file?
How did you create and deploy the ear file?
In the server start up, did you see the message Nucleus is running...?
I did not see the message Nucleus is running and I have no idea what an ear file is.
This may sound like a dumb question but as I am a total novice here's the question.
I have Weblogic 10 and ATG 10 installed. Both are installed in separate directories. Should everything that is in the ATG directory be inside the user domain directory in weblogic?
I also checked the install log for ATG and no errors were reported. It appears that all the dynamo software was installed but it just won't work on port 7001 - I get 404 page not found.
Okay, I see now!
Installing ATG means you have downloaded the required jars or resources to develop an application.
Now you have to create/develop an ATG application or use existing Commerce Reference Store(CRS) application/MotorPriseJSP application then deploy that ear file in ATG and access thru browser.
Refer ATG docs on how to set up CRS/Motorprise application.
