I'm trying to copy Tom Kyte's example of reading files from the filesystem using Java: http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0%3a%3a%3a%20%3aP11_QUESTION_ID:439619916584
I created all parts within APEX's SQL Commands window (with mike_ prefixes) then I tried calling the following:
select * from table( mike_get_dir_list('/tmp'))
--But got the following error: ORA-00904: "MIKE_GET_DIR_LIST": invalid identifier-- Any idea where I've gone wrong? Someone else done the same task before?
Ok I've got it displaying a list of files from the OS in a report. Now how do I make the records hyperlinks and read the files from the server? When I print it out the output is like:
rather than only having file.txt as a hyperlink.

Is function mike_get_dir_list in your app parsing schema?
If not, you should grant execute privilege to function on your app parsing schema and
1. create synonym to app parsing schema
2. use schema qualifier in query
