our configuration is the following :
Cluster Linux two nodes (Node1, Node2) :
Linux WIFORA01 2.6.18-164.el5 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 18.104.22.168.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, Real Application Clusters, Automatic Storage Management, OLAP,
Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
Grid infrastructure installed with user: grid with ASM.
Oracle Database software installed with user: oracle
I created a database named WF in RAC One Node using DBCA, and the configuration is WF_1 on Node1, WF_2 on Node2.
Actually the situation is:
Node1 WF_1 active.
Node2 WF_2 passive.
When I try to relocate database WF from Node1 to Node 2 with the command:
srvctl relocate database -d WF -n Node2
Configuration updated to two instances
Instance WF_2 started
Online relocation failed, rolling back to original state
Target instance WF_2 stopped
Configuration reverted back to one instance
PRCD-1222 : Online relocation of database WF failed but database was restored to its original state
PRCR-1106 : Failed to relocate resource <db_resource> from node Node1 to node Node2
PRCR-1089 : Failed to relocate resource <db_resource>.
CRS-2675: Stop of '<db_resource>' on 'Node1' failed
CRS-2731: Resource '<db_resource>' is already running on server 'Node1'
Then the database runs always on Node1
It seems that relocate command can't stop resource on Node1.
If I shutdown the server Node1, the resource starts on Node2, with instance name WF_1
Which could be the problem?
Consider that on the same cluster there are other two databases in Rac One Node that work correctly.
With Best Regards
