Hi
To change the value of a column..
I create a following procedure ...

declare
count_em number;
BEGIN
FOR i in 1..APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01.count
LOOP
apex_application.g_f05(i) := 12;
apex_application.g_f04(i) := 12;
apex_application.g_f03(i) := 'ONEYEARI';
END LOOP;

END;

04 Is start_Number column
while end_number is 05
And third column is offer .
But the value donot get changed..

The change donot get reflected in the database. . Any idea. .what am i doing wrong..
Is this method of referencing values in tabular form a correct method..?
Thanks again
Thanks

    Hi zycoz100 ,

    APEX version ??

    Are you running this as a "on submit-after computations and validations" process ?
    Did you check if this process is run ( for example by insert a test record in a table ) ?

    You can also check the logic by enabling debugging on the page and see if the process is being run (without errors).

    regards

    Thanks .. I am using apex 4 ..Now just shifting my full app to apex 4.2
    Hope everything goes fine..
    And in apex 4 when i used composite index. i face issues like 1422 error ..
    So i will shift to 4.2 where this can be solved easily .I might use the rowid feature..

    Within a few moments i will try doing what you mentoined..
    shall take atleast 2 hours..
    Thanks

    Thanks
    My existing tabular report was based on a view using instead of ..trigger since the existing form had a composite key as a primarykey..
    I had just redesigned my application to use only singular primary key..So i will redesign the form
    The form will be based directly on table ..so i can see the source field

    The source field attribute in my report attributes.
    So i will just do the same and get back in a few minutes
