Unfortunately, I don't get any options during install that you mentioned. If so, I would have used them. I've tried it many times and same with RHEL 6.3. Just no options for me to choose from. Bizarre.

So now I have to debug my Windows 7 to see why my xdriver is failing during install. Since YUM did not work even after the text mode install, there must have been something wrong with the installation that may or may not be related to the X startup failure. Not sure it's that important now that I have OEL 6.3 installed, but curiosity killed the cat.
