URLs for images in question banks

Hi

I am hoping for some advice

We currently hard code the URL for images used in our question banks. Whenever we clone the environment it continues to point at the source. Is there anyway that we can avoid this hard coding and instead reference the directory on the server that holds the images?

Regards

Assuming the images are not stored on the same host/domain as the application, I don't think there's much you can do in this regard. If they do happen to be on the same host as the application, then a relative URL could work.
Another option would be store the images elsewhere (intranet/internet webserver) that way they could be accessed without having to make any changes on any environment.

    Hi Scott

Can you give me an example of a relative URL when the images are stored on the same host/domain as the application?
We currently store ours in a folder named OA_MEDIA and have attempted to do this but have so far been unsuccessful.

    Regards
