EC2 Oracle instance seems to be unmounted. How to mount back
Nov 6, 2012 9:54 AM
There problem i am trying to fix are two:
1. When i open my application, It prints a "*ORA-12541: TNS:no listener*" error.
2. When i try to access the remote database from
of my local system, it prints an error "*Network adapter could not establish the connection. vendor code 20*"
and connect to the instance where my oracle is been mounted.
I do echo *$ORACLE_HOME* and it prints "*/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1*"
But when i try to cd to this path, it says
No such file or directory
None of the oracle commands work. lsnrctl start also says -bash command not found.
when i do
in the */home/oracle/u01* directory,
the app folder is marked in RED and shown up as app -> /fromSnap/u01/app
What is that I need to do to get my oracle up and running. May it be possible that my oracle has got unmounted?? if so how do i mount it back
Please do help.
