Using audit on Oracle RAC environment.

One of our customer is going to use audit function on Oracle RAC environment.
And I have some questions.

1. Is it OK to set the same place to audit_file_dest on each instance?
2. In case different directory is set to each instance, when I access to instance#1, will audit logs output in audit_file_dest of instance#1 only?

Thanks in advance.

    yes

yes, this parameter is set when you're going to set auditing to OS ,if you choose DB then it will write the auditing record to aud$ table.
however sys log still be generated in audit_file_dest.

AUDIT_FILE_DEST specifies the operating system directory into which the audit trail is written when the AUDIT_TRAIL initialization parameter is set to os. It is also the location to which mandatory auditing information is written and, if so specified by the AUDIT_SYS_OPERATIONS initialization parameter, audit records for user SYS.
